If you or someone you love has recently been diagnosed with type 1 (juvenile) diabetes, the JDRF is here for you, hosting walk-a-thon fundraisers with over 200 locations worldwide. Family teams, corporate teams, and individual walkers are welcome to become part of the effort to find a cure. JDRF has built a nationwide network of Advocates who are dedicated to finding a cure for type 1 diabetes. We are all working together to advance the search for a cure faster and more effectively.Time Magazine called JDRF “one of the nation’s most forceful disease advocacy groups.” Their strength lies in numbers and the ability of the Advocates to work together to build bonds–bonds with one another, as well as with our Members of Congress. These relationships strengthen our community, provide support for those who are living with type 1 diabetes, and deliver our message–the need for a cure–faster and more effectively. Nissan of Bakersfield would like to invite you to join us in support of the JDRF.
Nissan of Bakersfield believes in our community. Giving back and supporting the efforts of educators is one of the principal methods for directly impacting the quality of life, and future of our city. California State University Bakersfield is an outstanding establishment of higher-learning that challenges our young people to excel in their selected profession. We believe the admistrators and faculty are passionate about their jobs, and we proudly stand and cheer for our Roadrunners! Over the years, Nissan of Bakersfield has made numerous sizeable donations to CSUB, and will continue to do so as long as we can.
